Welcome to

from noon-8pm

While other shops have come and gone, Jester's Court has been a fixture in Pittsburgh since 1991.  Our award-winning artists have over 50 years of combined experience.

With 3 Pittsburgh locations, Jester's Court is an insured and multiple certified tattoo studio, voted one of the best in Pittsburgh, year after year.

Sean was born on the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA over half a century ago to young German/Irish parents. His family helped to nurture his artistic talents through school, leading to his decision to pursue art.

Sean took on many, varied jobs in the art field as he studied for his degree in Graphic Communications. The early (pre-internet) 90's found Sean being convinced by other artists and friends to explore the world of tattooing as an outlet for his talents. With their motivation, trust, and patience, Sean outgrew his home studio and opened his first studio, with the help of a partner.

Years of certifications, training, and working at hundreds of tattoo conventions and events with the world's best artist have put Sean among the top of this ever expanding tattoo world. Almost 30 years has passed and Jester's Court Tattoos has grown to be a Pittsburgh tattooing legend and has won repeated awards with the help from the numerous talented artists that have and still tattoo at Jester's Court.  We have been named one of Pittsburgh's best shops year after year.

When I asked Ed what he'd like me to write in his bio, he said, succinctly: "I've been tattooing since 2000, and I love tattoos."

The quote says it all.

With work that speaks for itself, Ed is dedicated to quality craftsmanship in every part of the tattoo process (including building his own machines) and working one-on-one with clients to perfect their designs.

Ed joined Jester's Court Tattoos in 2012 and loves all styles of  tattooing but is particularly fond of black & grey, floral, wildlife, geometric, or anything involving a challenge.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Chance started tattooing as a teenager.  While living there, he was mentored by the famous Celebrity tattoo artist, Pride of Pride Tattoos, whose clients have included Lil Wayne, Birdman, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and many more.

Chance is an admirer of Renaissance and Classical art, architecture, and sculpture, and he specializes in cover-ups and black & grey realism.
